Real Resource Economics and MMT

Real Resource Economics aligns with the operational insights of Modern Monetary Theory (MMT): once you understand that a currency-issuing government is never financially constrained, the real questions become questions about resources (labour, materials, energy, time) and what we choose to do with them.

What is Real Resource Economics?

Real Resource Economics treats the economy as a system bounded by people, materials, energy and time, not by money. Money is a tool the currency issuer creates to mobilise real resources towards public purposes; the binding constraints on policy are physical and social, not financial.
